NVQ Highways Maintenance

Many companies find that, due to either tendering requirements or Health & Safety Legislation, they are required to prove the competency of their workers. The most comprehensive proof of competency in todays market are NVQ's. NVQ's prove competency in occupations and when supported by a CSCS card, also prove an awareness of general site safety.

Matrix have developed a unique assessment system which in most cases will permit an experienced operative to gain this NVQ during a four day assessment programme.

The process emcompasses not only the NVQ, but also achieves a CSCS Card.

Profiling and Skill-match sessions are included, so that 'In-Scope' employers may take advantage of funding where applicable.

Professional assessors, specially selected from the industry, work closely with candidates during normal working days. This method of evidence gathering, minimises lost time for employers and maximises resources. Where developmental training is required, our training team can deliver the course necessary to develop the required skills.

Content:

To achieve this NVQ, candidates must achieve the three mandatory core units, plus at least one optional unit. Candidates will also need to complete a CSCS Health & Safety Test in order to achieve a CSCS Card.
