First established in 1985 to train building trade's apprentices in vocational skills, the company has developed into a multi-disciplinary training, assessment and accreditation organisation for the Building & Civil Engineering industry.

Matrix Vocational offers a full suite of programmes complimentary to the construction industry, from short duration, modular, practical skills training courses to National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ's).

All programmes are delivered by relatable, professionally qualified staff with industry vocational site experience. Our aims are to provide the required service in a structured, informal manner. This, we believe, helps candidates to gain maximum benefit from training and affords the best environment in which to demonstrate competency.

Our client-base ranges from self employed builders, through Local Authorities and Utility companies, to Multi-National Construction companies. Programmes are regularly developed on a bespoke bases to suit company and individual needs.

At Matrix, we take pride in our ability to respond quickly and in a flexible manner in order to comply with the demands of modern contracting.

The company has its main offices and training centre in Bristol with a satellite facility in Oxford. However, we offer in-house programmes at client premises throughout the UK and have access to a network of associated training & assessment facilities from Aberdeen to Cornwall and from Antrim to Norfolk.

At Matrix, our aim is to design, develop and deliver training and assessment programmes which are appropriate, relevant and cost effective to our client base. We also appreciate the limitations placed on our clients when considering the tendering trends of the construction industry.
