High Pressure Water Jetting
 
Who For:

Those persons who use equipment, which utilises high pressure water to clean, flush or de-scale surfaces or pipelines.

Objectives:
To raise awareness of the hazards inherent to the use of high pressure water jetting equipment and the principles to be followed in order to minimise these.
To explain the principles of the Codes of Practice applicable to the equipment and to give a sound working appreciation of use.
To examine the requirements for personal and third-party protective equipment and to facilitate the practical use of pressure jetting equipment in a controlled environment.
To examine the equipment and working tasks specific to those attending.
To prepare candidates for progression to an NVQ by gathering evidence, which can be used for cross-mapping.
Duration: 1 day
Outcome: Certificate of attendance.
